One of my favorite things about photographing at Deception Pass State Park is the incredible variety of scenery. Within a single session, you can explore towering evergreens, dramatic cliffs, rugged shorelines, and sweeping views of the turquoise water below. Around every corner, there’s another incredible backdrop waiting to be discovered.

Rather than rushing from one photo location to the next, we spent the evening exploring at their pace, sharing plenty of laughs and taking in everything that makes Deception Pass so special. Their adventurous personalities made every moment feel effortless, and the connection they share was evident in every photograph.
