That’s me and my dog Obi, the bestest boy in the world, in one of the best places in the world. Can ya guess where it is?
I’ve always loved photography, even when I was a kid I had a camera with me everywhere I went. My first camera was a 35mm film camera and now I use 2 Nikon mirrorless Z 7iis. When I decided to leave the corporate world to be a full-time photographer, no one was surprised. I grew up in a small bay town in MD and if you’ve never taken a boat ride under moonlight you’re missing a small wonder in life.
I travel as much as I can and I’d rather buy a ticket to a new place, than pretty much anything else, unless it’s camera gear. My dream home will be in the mountains and or in the San Juan islands. I love Asian food, pour-over coffee, brioche donuts, and making homemade pasta. Most of all, I love meeting new people so being a wedding photographer is basically the perfect job for me.

How do I reserve my date?
To start, simply send me a message. Click the contact link in the menu above. I’ll let you know right away if your date is available.

Do you travel?
DO I?!?! I love to travel. My roots are travel photography and it was one of the first kinds of photography I was published for. Just include the destination in your message to me.

Do you have back up equipment?
I sure do. I always bring multiple cameras, a ton of lenses and flashes so I’m ready for anything.

Your work is great! How can we reserve you?
Great and I can’t wait to meet you! I email you a contract that details exactly what you’ll get, you sign it. Then a non-refundable retainer of 25% is due. Once this is done, the fun begins.

What is your style?
My style is a photojournalistic approach with lite natural posing when needed. This creates the best authentic and timeless photos. My aesthetic is a fine art light and airy feel for dreamy beautiful shots.

Do you have insurance?
Yes! I have liability insurance and many venues require it. Please let me know if yours does so I can provide it to them. I’m also a registered business with the State of Maryland.
Obi
Studio Manager & Treat Stealer
I’ve had Obi for nearly 8 years. I rescued him right after a trip to the Grand Canyon and Utah. The second he saw me the day I rescued him, he ran right to me. Out of a bunch of people standing around the pick up area of an airport and somehow he knew to come directly to me. I proceeded to cry like a baby LOL.
I take Obi with me when I escape to the mountains to reignite my inspiration. He also tags along with me on flights sometimes. He’s my muse when hiking and one of the best travel buddies.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t come with me on shoots. He’s home fiercely protecting your files and making sure I get my todo list completed. I kid, he’s really just sleeping all day, stealing treats, looking out the window, jumping on daddy begging to play and sleeping some more. Obi says “book my dad so I can keep gettin those yummy organic treats!”
