There’s just a few joggers and kayakers out and no one else. If you go for sunset it will be completely packed and you wont be able to have this romantic spot to yourself. This is the main reason why most spots in DC I only offer sunrise e-sessions, but trust me it’ll be worth it. I met Stephanie and Mike early one summer morning for their session and we couldn’t have had better weather. There was a gentle breeze and the golden hour light was absolutely stunning.
Stephanie and Mike have been here many times and it’s why those chose this beautiful waterfront spot for their session. Not only does Georgetown Waterfront park have, a waterfront but it also has beautiful gardens in bloom pretty much from spring to summer and a beautiful unique view of DC in the background.
