Library of Congress Engagement photos have always been some of my favorites. This rare permit free elegant engagement session location in the heart of DC has some of the most amazing indoor light I have ever shot in. Not to mention the beautiful architecture inside makes for one completely unique location. Are are grand marble staircases, huge archways, beautiful majestic pillars and tons of amazing painting and designs on the walls and arched ceiling. Even the floor and windows in the Library of Congress are amazing!
I was so excited when Lauren and Sean wanted to have Library of Congress Engagement photos. We met early one afternoon during the week and practically had the entire building to ourselves. Mid morning and early afternoon is the best time for a session. The light during these times hits the floors and inside of the building just right. Not only is they inside of this building gorgeous but the outside is just as breathtaking. You have the capital building off in the distance and it makes a perfect backdrop too.
