ruby beach engagement session
Sarah and Daren wanted quintessential Pacific North West for their engagement. They knew pretty quickly that out of all the beautiful spots in Washington none of them would compare to a Ruby Beach engagement session. Ruby Beach is about 3 hours form Seattle so we made an overnight trip out of it. I met them about 45 minutes before sunset in the parking lot at the top of the cliff overlooking the beach. Evan at the edge of the parking lot, the light drenches the tall spruce trees and makes for an amazing backdrop.
We made our way down to the beach and found a ton of beautiful spots to shoot in. Sarah and Daren were complete naturals during their Ruby Beach engagement session. I guided them easily though a bunch of different poses and prompts and we had so much fun. The love these two share is so easy to see. They were so comfortable with one another and they made my job super easy!
A Ruby Beach engagement session wouldn’t be complete without getting those gorgeous sea stacks in a few shots. As well as the long tree lined beach. We walked around the beach, got to know each other laughed our butts off and got some amazing pictures! Golden hour went by so fast and before we knew it, it was dark. We were all hungry so we decided to grab a burger before going to our hotels, and whenever I’m in Forks WA I always hit Blakeslees Bar and Grill. It was such a pleasure photographing these two and I cant wait for their wedding this year at TreeHouse Point.
