This Trillium Nursery Farm wedding was the perfect reminder that a little rain can’t take away from a celebration filled with love, laughter, and incredible memories.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Trillium Nursery Farm, this early fall wedding embraced everything we love about the Pacific Northwest. Rich greens, golden accents, and colorful autumn details created a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the changing season.

The day began with a heartfelt first look, one of my favorite moments to photograph. Even with a little rain, the couple couldn’t stop smiling. Instead of worrying about the weather, they embraced it, creating authentic moments that felt relaxed, joyful, and completely true to who they are. Sometimes the rain becomes part of the story, and this was one of those days.

The reception was filled with thoughtful fall wedding decor that celebrated both the season and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Watercolor table numbers featuring local wildlife added a unique personal touch, while vibrant fall leaves decorated each place setting alongside deep green and gold accents. Every detail reflected the couple’s personality and made the space feel warm and welcoming.

As dinner came to a close, nature delivered one final surprise. A beautiful rainbow appeared just in time for sunset portraits, creating one of those rare moments every photographer hopes for. With the colorful sky stretching behind them, the couple slipped away for a few quiet moments together before returning to celebrate with everyone they love.

And they certainly knew how to make an entrance. Surrounded by friends and family waving faux sparklers, they re-entered the reception before sneaking away one last time for a fun wardrobe change. When they came back, they had traded formal wedding attire for matching white tracksuits and sneakers, ready to spend the rest of the night exactly how they wanted—laughing, dancing, and celebrating with the people who mean the most to them. It was the perfect ending to a wedding day that never stopped reflecting their fun-loving personalities.
