You’re in great hands! Each of my associate shooters has shot weddings with me and for me and have even joined me on commercial projects. They have an excellent eye for photography and know exactly how to provide you with an amazing, relaxed and fun experience. If they shoot you’re wedding they’ll also shoot your engagement session. I’m here to build your timeline, and handle all contract stuffs and finally edit and delivery your gallery.

A Seattle wedding photographer and owner of Nick Hanyok Imaging LLC. When I’m not photographing Seattle weddings you’ll find me backpacking in Olympic, Mt. Rainier National Park or relaxing in the San Juan Islands. I love exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures.
Seattle has my heart and soul. The beautiful landscape of Washington is where my creativity is rejuvenated so in 2021 I moved here! I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay and there’s nothing like boating under moonlight. I love tacos, Thai food, board games, all kinds of documentaries and shooting black & white film for personal projects.
I’ve been lucky to be recognized among some of the best Seattle wedding photographers in my short time here. I’m even more lucky to have some of the best couples a wedding photographer could ask for.

When it comes to my eye and style, I favor the real. That’s why you’ll never see me forcing you into poses that have you longingly looking away from the person you’re saying ‘do life with me’ to.
When we work together, I’ll encourage you to relax, have fun, and stay in the moment. Be in your day and I’ll get the shot. No need for you to feel the need to look like anything. We’re capturing you as you really are.
And me? When I’m not snapping pics, you’ll find me surrounded by close friends, munching on a cheese board with a nice bottle of wine. We’ll be reminiscing about old memories and swapping stories that still trigger belly laughs.

Hello I’m Sarah (Soko is my Mongolian nickname) and I go by either. Not to be dramatic but I LOVE what I do! Getting to create art that will be cherished for a lifetime is a true honor and I feel lucky every day that I get to do this.
