I started Nick Hanyok Imaging because I’ve always loved photography and I really wanted to start my own business. I wanted to do something I loved, something I was passionate about, so I quit my marketing director job and never looked back. Still the best decision I have ever made.

I started shooting weddings and created a style that is fine art yet fun, vibrant yet soft, bright yet has contrast, all while being full of emotion and with a timeless feel. I fell in love with weddings, who can say they get to share some of the most important milestones with people on a daily basis? I can. During all of this, I began falling in love the Washington state. I love to hike and backpack and found myself returning multiple times a year to do just that. So I moved here from Maryland.

Emma & Sarah know exactly the kind of images my couples love, and know exactly how to get them. They are both amazing photographers and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my brand! You’re in great hands with either of these talented photographers!

Back in 2020 Nick reached out to me to network with other photographers here in Seattle before he made his move to the PNW. Once he got here we began working together. I’ve shot weddings with him and he’s shot weddings with me. We both have a similar approach to weddings so it was super easy for me to join his lead photographer team.

Like Nick and Sarah, I too have been shooting weddings for years now and it’s my absolute love. I love to capture the details, emotion, and all of the moments in between to bring you beautiful heirlooms you can look back on for years.

Nick has shown me the way he likes to run wedding days, the tips and tricks he uses to get those beautiful shots you see in his portfolio, and most of all what he expects from me to deliver to all of his couples. I treat all of his weddings as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you and capture your special day!

I’ve always had a strong love for photography, so when I decided to make it a bigger part of my career I got into weddings, and I am so glad I did. I love everything about them. Being able to capture those beautiful moments, all the amazingly designed spaces and not to mention all the epic locations around the PNW fills me with so much joy.

When Nick approached me to start shooting with him I was so excited. He showed me the way he likes to shoot weddings, showed me how to capture the images you see on his site, and brought me along on a bunch of weddings with him so I could treat all of his weddings exactly the way he does.

I was so thrilled and excited when he asked me to join his team as a lead wedding photographer. Going with a lead photographer may be a difficult decision, but trust me when I say Nick has spent hours and hours making sure we all know exactly what he and his couples expect to receive. For every wedding I shoot I take great care in making sure you are comfortable and have the best experience possible, just like Nick would. I cant wait to meet you and photograph your beautiful wedding!

I’ve had Obi for nearly 5 years and he is my first dog.  I rescued him right after a trip to the Grand Canyon and Utah.  The second he saw me the day I rescued him, he ran right to me and I proceeded to cry like a baby.

I take Obi with me when I escape to the mountains to reignite my inspiration and he does way better on flights than I do.  He’s my muse when hiking and one of the best travel buddies.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t come with me on shoots. He’s home fiercely protecting your files and making sure I get my todo list completed. AKA sleeping all day, stealing treats, looking out the window, jumping on daddy begging to play and sleeping some more.
